The Ideal Pet door company is one of the biggest and most popular in the USA. This company produces several different lines of pet doors. Their flaps all have a chrome strip across the bottom. Most say Made in the USA on them, and many have the size embossed right into the flap, which makes it easy to know which size to purchase. This door is easily distinguishable from the Original and Deluxe doors because the frames protrude about 3 inches from the door or wall they're installed in.

Extra Large flaps are the same size whether they are marked 9 ¾ x 17 or 10 ½ x 17. Ideal changed where they measured the flaps, but the actual flap sizes are exactly the same.
